REGISTRATION

 

Registration deadline
Online registration close on 3rd October 2019. It will be possible to register on-site only if Bibs are still available.

 

Is it possible to move the registration from one distance to another?
Yes, by writing directly to TDS at the email address cmptrail@tds-live.com, copying info@cmptrail.it specifying the name of the event.

 

Is it possible to change the name of the Bib?
Yes, by writing directly to TDS at the email address cmptrail@tds-live.com, copying info@cmptrail.it specifying the name of the event.

 

Is it possible to cancel my registration?
You can cancel your registration only you registered by July 30th 2019 at the CMP Long Trail. Anyone who wants to request a refund must communicate their non-participation by sending an email to the address info@cmptrail.it no later than Monday 23 September 2019, indicating their name, surname, date of birth and order code. Registration costs and commission fees for the payment method are not reimbursed.
The postponement of the registration fee for the following year is not foreseen.
The alternative to the cancellation of the registration is the change of the name of the Bib or the withdrawal of the race package without participating in the competition.

 

Documentation
All athletes registered for a competitive race must attach to Enternow or deliver on the day of the race, the medical certificate for competitive sports .
For foreign athletes there is a specific form to be filled out by the doctor in his country downloadable here.
Athletes who have not delivered the required documentation will not receive the Bib and will not be able to start.

 

Bib collection
At the time of collecting the Bib, each athlete must show a valid ID. The Bib can be picked up by the registered athlete or by another person provided he/she has a paper proxy (no e-mail or photographs on the phone) and a copy of an ID of the person for whom the Bib is collected. The proxy can be downloaded here.

It will be possible to collect your Bib on Saturday 5th October from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Sunday 6th October from 7:00 am up to 45 minutes before the start.

 

 

LOGISTICS

 

Where can I accomodate for the weekend?
You can stay in one of the hotels affiliated with us. Find all the details at “INFO”> “THE WEEKEND”> “HOTELS” section on our website.

 

Bag storage
In Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel there will be an area set aside for the storage of the participants’ bags until the end of the event.

 

Bibs and Goody Bag collection
You can collect your Bib and Goody Bag on Saturday 5th October from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Sunday 6th October from 7:00 am up to 45 minutes before the start.

 

Parking
The parking reserved for athletes will be free, located exactly next to Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel and will be indicated by appropriate signs. It is an agricultural field opened on the occasion of the event and in case of bad weather it could be unusable. In this case, it will be possible to park in the areas surrounding the start area. However, we suggest you to arrive well in advance, as the parking spaces could also be placed 15 minutes walk from the Villa.

It is strictly forbidden, in any case, to pass through and park along the Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel vineyards located in via Contrà Corte Sant’Eusebio, as they will be affected by the competition courses. We strongly recommend, and possibly to all those who live nearby to arrive on foot, by bike or by motorbike, while for groups it is advisable to arrive with as few cars as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

 

Is there an area for campers?
At the following link you can find the parking areas for campers near Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel:
– The “CENTRO IN BUS” area is 4.5 km away;
– The CAMPER FATTORIA SOCIALE CONCA D’ORO area is 7.1 km away but is on the other side of the Brenta with respect to the start;
– The free camper parking spot in PRATO SANTA CATERINA is 5.5 km near the center of Bassano del Grappa (but it will be occupied by the country fair in the historical centre of Bassano del Grappa);
– The camper stopping point at CALZATURIFICIO KAINA is the one closest to Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel (about 3 km) and reaching it from there is very simple.

 

Is there a babysitting service during the race?
Yes, a babysitting service with creative workshops and games for children aged 4 to 10 will be active throughout Sunday. You can also register your children on the Mini Trail, a 2 km run through the vineyards of Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel.

 

Start
All races will start outside Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel. Before departure, sample checks on the mandatory material can be performed.

 

Arrival
The arrival of all races will be inside the Court of Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel, where takes place the start, the Bib distribution, the Pasta Party, the award ceremonies and the Expo Area.

 

Is it possible to take a shower after the race?
Yes, there will be the possibility to take a shower at the sports facilities of Sant’Eusebio, 750 m from Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel towards the North. There is no shower service on Saturday 6th October. We ask for your kind cooperation in the respectful use of the aforementioned structure.

Exposed sections of the course
The race is mainly run on “hiking” paths (CAI-SAT classification). The paths are the same that hikers use to walk to reach shelters and peaks. Of course there are some more exposed sections than others, even if you will run in a predominantly hilly and pre-mountain environment. We strongly recommend that you view the altitudes of the individual courses to appropriately assess, on the basis of your personal physical-athletic preparation, the steepest stretches characterized by the most accentuated elevation gain.

 

 

MANDATORY MATERIAL

 

Which?
The mandatory material for the 43 km is
– 1/2 litre water, enough to last between refreshment points;
– energy gels or bars;
– suitable shoes for the trail;
– thermal survival blanket;
– mobile phone: on which we ask that you store the organisation number +39 366777336;
– a windproof jacket in case of bad weather;
– whistle.
The deadline to reach the finishing line has been set at 30 minutes before sundown. For athletes who aim to meet timing gate targets, we recommend bringing a head torch.

 

IMPORTANT!
In case of adverse weather conditions the recommended material for the 43km will become mandatory and the organization reserves the right to carry out checks on samples before entering the starting grid and along the route. Competitors who are caught without the mandatory equipment can be stopped or disqualified from the competition at any time.

– energy gels or bars;
– suitable shoes for the trail;
– thermal survival blanket (optional);

– a windproof jacket in case of bad weather;
The requested material may undergo variations based on the weather conditions expected for the day of the race.

 

Material check
The mandatory material can be checked before the start even if, as can be seen above, it is a recommended material unless adverse weather conditions arise. Competitors who are caught without the mandatory equipment can be stopped or disqualified from the competition at any time. The choice of the organization is to go in the direction of greater individual responsibility of the participants in the event in the knowledge of their limits and their needs, in order to complete their race in complete safety.

Goody Bag
The registration fee entitles the collection of a Goody Bag consisting of technical and food products supplied by the sponsors of the event. The composition of the Goody Bag can be seen at “INFO”> “GOODY BAG 2019” section of our website. The Goody Bag is guaranteed for the first 300 registered of the Long race and the first 900 registered of the Short race.

Finisher award
The finisher award is a medal and, only for the Long registered, a high-quality technical garment produced specifically for the event by CMP.
